Weddng Music Basic List

So I'm starting off with one of my favorite segment in a wedding - MUSIC!

Your musical selections should be a reflection of the atmosphere you and your partner want to create.
It will also depend on any ceremonial/reception site restriction and or your budgetary limitations.

There is so much to think about but lets keep it simple for now.

So here goes the basic list of Must Have:
  • Prelude
  • Processional
  • Bridal March
  • Congregational Song
  • Candle Lighting or Sand Ceremony
  • Recessional
  • Postlude
  • First Dance
  • Father/Daughter Dance
  • Mother/Son Dance
  • Cutting of the Cake
  • Bouquet Toss
  • Garter Removal &Toss
There's also the music you want your DJ to play throughout the wedding reception.
Don't assume the DJ will know what to play. You or your bridal consultant is still in charge at the reception and should have a basic idea of the type of music that should be played.

Don't forget your guests!

What Says you?
